Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your data

This Privacy Policy explains how NOIMOSINY LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with a mailing address at 30 N Gould St #59074, Sheridan, WY 82801, d/b/a Noimosiny (“Noimosiny,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with noimosiny.com, api.noimosiny.com, and related services (the “Service”).

This policy addresses two distinct groups, and the sections below tell you which apply to you:

  • Account Holders — people who register for and use the Service (“Users,” “you”); and
  • Data Subjects — third parties whose publicly available information may appear in search results returned by the Service, even though they have never used Noimosiny themselves.

We are the controller of Account Holder data described in Sections 1–6. Our role with respect to information about Data Subjects is addressed separately in Section 7.

1. Information We Collect From Account Holders

1.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), company/organization name (if applicable)
  • Billing information processed by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers)
  • Communications you send us (support requests, correspondence)

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: searches performed (identifiers queried, sources used, timestamps), API call volume, credit consumption
  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs
  • Cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 6

1.3 Query, results, and image logging

Noimosiny logs the queries you submit and the results returned by each search (including profile images discovered through search results) to your account’s History/Investigation Archive. This includes:

  • Queries and results: the identifier you searched (e.g., email, phone number, username), the sources queried, the data returned, and the timestamp of the search. This data is encrypted at rest.
  • Profile images: where a search result includes a profile photograph or similar image from a third-party source, a copy is stored in our cloud storage (see Section 3) and linked to the corresponding history entry.

You control this data. You may disable logging for your account at any time in your account settings — when disabled, we do not create new History/Investigation Archive entries or store profile images for searches performed while the setting is off. You may also delete individual history entries, or your entire existing search history, at any time. Deleting a history entry permanently deletes the associated encrypted query/result record and any linked profile images from our storage. This deletion is not reversible on our end once processed.

Until you delete it or disable logging, we retain history data for as long as your account remains active, and we use aggregated or de-identified versions of this usage data for internal analytics (e.g., understanding source popularity, usage volume, and Service performance). We do not use the substantive content of your individual queries for advertising or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

2. How We Use Account Holder Information

We use Account Holder information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process payments and manage your subscription/credits
  • Authenticate you and secure your account
  • Communicate with you about the Service, including security and policy notices
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Analyze usage patterns (e.g., source popularity, query volume, performance) to maintain and improve the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from public authorities

We do not use Account Holder information to serve third-party advertising, and we do not sell Account Holder personal information to data brokers or advertisers.

3. How We Share Account Holder Information

We share Account Holder information only with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, including: Cloudflare (content delivery, DDoS/security protection, and edge network services for noimosiny.com and api.noimosiny.com); cloud/object storage and CDN providers for encrypted history data and profile images discovered in search results; Stripe and Cryptomus, our current payment processors (and any additional payment processors we may engage in the future), for billing; and analytics and customer-support tooling — each bound to use the data solely to provide services to us
  • Legal and safety purposes: where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to prevent harm, investigate suspected violations of our Acceptable Use Policy, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Noimosiny, our Users, or the public
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections
  • With your direction or consent

We do not sell Account Holder personal information as “sale” is defined under the CCPA/CPRA or similar laws.

4. Data Retention

We retain Account Holder account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Encrypted search/query logs and linked profile images are retained until you delete them via your History/Investigation Archive, or turn off logging going forward, at which point new searches are no longer recorded; existing entries persist until you delete them, or until you delete your account entirely, whichever occurs first. We do not independently review, sample, or otherwise access the substantive content of your query history except in aggregated/de-identified form for analytics (Section 2), or where necessary to investigate a suspected violation of our Acceptable Use Policy or to comply with a valid legal request. You may request deletion of your account as described in Section 8.

5. Data Security

We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure — designed to protect Account Holder and Data Subject information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, and (where you consent, if required by your jurisdiction) analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect Service functionality.

7. Information About Data Subjects (Third Parties in Search Results)

This section applies to individuals whose information may appear in Noimosiny search results, whether or not they are Users of the Service.

7.1 Sources

The Service aggregates information that is publicly available — including information voluntarily made public by individuals on third-party platforms (e.g., social media profiles, marketplace listings, fitness-tracking activity feeds) and information available through public records or open APIs. We do not access private, password-protected, or otherwise access-restricted accounts, and we do not obtain data through hacking or unauthorized intrusion.

7.2 Categories of information

Depending on the source and identifier searched, aggregated information may include: names, usernames, profile photographs, approximate location, account creation/activity dates, and similar publicly posted profile data from third-party platforms.

7.3 Legal basis (where GDPR or similar law applies)

Where the UK/EU GDPR or an equivalent law applies to our processing, our legal basis is legitimate interests — namely, providing a lawful investigative and safety research tool — balanced against the rights and freedoms of the data subject. We do not process special-category data (e.g., health, sexual orientation, religious belief) as a deliberate output of the Service, and our sources are not designed to surface such categories.

7.4 Data subject rights and opt-out

If you are not a Noimosiny User but believe your publicly available information has appeared in our search index and would like to (a) learn what categories of information about you may be indexed, (b) request removal from indexing where legally required, or (c) exercise applicable rights under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or similar state/foreign data-broker or privacy law, you may submit a request by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

7.5 How Data Subject information reaches Users

When a User submits a search, the Service returns publicly available information about the corresponding Data Subject to that User in exchange for credits or a subscription fee. We describe this practice here directly because, depending on your jurisdiction, providing a non-customer’s personal information to a paying third party in this manner may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or California’s data broker statute, regardless of how the underlying search was performed. Where applicable law characterizes this practice as a sale, disclosure, or brokering of personal information, the rights and opt-out mechanism described in Section 7.4 apply to it. We are evaluating our obligations under applicable data-broker registration and disclosure laws on an ongoing basis.

7.6 Accuracy

Information is sourced from third parties and may be inaccurate, outdated, or associated with the wrong individual (e.g., due to shared identifiers). Noimosiny does not independently verify third-party data. Data subjects who believe information is inaccurate may submit a correction request through the channel above.

8. Your Rights and Choices (Account Holders)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; object to or restrict certain processing; request portability of your data; and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Closing your account. You may close your Noimosiny account at any time from your account settings. When you close your account, we permanently delete your account information, your entire History/Investigation Archive (including all logged queries and results), and any linked profile images stored in our cloud storage. This deletion is not reversible on our end once processed. We may retain a limited record (e.g., that an account existed and was closed) where necessary to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations, but we do not retain the substantive content of your searches or any associated images after account closure.

California residents, and residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws, may have additional rights (e.g., to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as those terms are defined by applicable law) — see Section 7.4 for our opt-out channel.

9. International Data Transfers

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect account information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have done so, we will delete that information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated “Last updated” date and, where required by law, notified to you directly.
